I have built and flown two of their CAP 232 40s and a built by WM Bruce Tharpe Delta Vortex ARF. I have also flown their T-34 Mentor. Many people hare and built and flown their ARFs with little or no complaint. Why do you ask?

Cheers!

Just got the Super Stunt 60. It is IMO a much better alternative to the similarly sized H9 Ultra Stick. The construction is meticulously lightweight, bordering on artful. Down and right thrust is built in to the firewall. Not one single wrinkle on the heat-shrink covering. Most surprisingly in this price category, it has a perfectly fitted aluminum tube wing joiner/spar and detachachle horizontal stab, so the plane can almost be put back into the box it came in and travel around the world.

I probably could have gotten the Super Stunt 60 flight ready in one evening, as the only gluing required was the vertical fin. But as nice as the kit is, it deserves the time taken to do an assembly job equal of the kit quality.

World Models quality is right up there with the best of them. I've sampled H9, ModelTech, GP in the recent past, and I have a feeling my next ARF will be a WM over these other brands. Their larger models (1/4 scale and up) seem pricey, but otherwise WM is highly recommended.

If World Models has built it, you can rest assured that if it is not the best, then it is one of the best, ARF products on the market today. I have had direct experience with much of their product line and could not be more impressed. Both in their service, and their quality.

I fly two of em.
A P51 (Miss America)
and the Corsair.
Love em both, maybe looking at the P40 now.
I've actually had two P51's, crashed the first one, but was
repaired and ready to fly again.

I fly the WM ZEN50. What a screamer, so easy to build. Mind you, I had to upgrade the retracts, everything else was stock. I think they are the best arfs around.

I have a WM Chipmunk 90S. The ARF is very high quality and looks great completed. I did modify the plane by tossing out the mechanical gear and installing Spring Air retracts with Robart struts. I hope to have a flight report soon. BTW, I installed a OS91FS and the plane balanced perfectly.

Go to Quantum Models they sell the WM stock.

I have two WM's the super stunts 60 and the AW/WM edge 540 T

Edit in:

Oh yes! some of the WM hardware tend to be a bit soft so be careful other then that they are a very well built ARF

I'm in the process of assembling my World Models Ultimate 120S (reviewing it in the User Reviews forum) and I'm very impressed so far. Great quality construction/covering and very light. Much lighter than some of the cheaper ARF's I've seen recently.

Hi MrBonk:
Are you up really early or late? I don't know the time differential.
I'm looking forward to hearing about your first flights on the Ultimate.

Well, right now it's 16:45.

First flights will be when I can actually get some time during daylight hours to get to the field on a weekend. Tied up for pretty much the entire weekend coming up Maybe Sunday week I might get lucky and find some spare time to get this thing in the air!

World Models rock!! I have either flown or seen flown all of their aircraft and they are all top-notch. The only one I would steer clear of is the PT-26. Quality is good but flight characteristics are not so great. I've been flying the Rambler of the last three weeks with a Saito 72 and it is the best plane I've owned. I will always have one in my fleet!! You can check it out here: http://rcuniverse.com/showthread.php...853&forumid=57

World Models produces high quality ARFs. IMHO the control hardware is excellent along with flight characteristics.
So far:
P-51 w/TT Pro 46 - excellent tracking, flys slow and quite fast
Super Chipmunk 90S w/TT 91S - excellent tracking, quite maneuverable
Ultimate 30 w/TT54S - hasn't flown yet

You can't go wrong with World Models

I have a WM T-34 and I love it....I can't believe this thing was only $130!! I just ordered the Super Sports 40 yesterday. All wood, and iron-on covering for $99!! World Models really has a good thing going here.....I hope they don't change anything.

Somebody asked where to check out their entire line....their website is: www.theworldmodels.com

World models are great! I have the extra 300 120 size arf. It flies great, is very light , and does a blender you would just have to see. Power is an OS 120 surpass, plenty of motor for hovering. It maybe isn't the best airplane for all out 3-D but, it sure is a heck of a plane. If I destroy it I will have to have another one!

With so much praise we have all showered on World Models, we should all receive a free arf kit in the mail; alright alright I was just doing some wishful thinking; how about a discount coupon.

Darn, from what I spent on replacing retracts on the ZEN50, I could have bought Spring Airs with Robart. I did buy Dave Browns, they are good but they were too thick to fit in the ZEN's wing. I need to replace them with low profile metals; anyone any ideas please?

I have:

Super Frontier Senior w/Saito .65 (Relaxing!)
Super Sports 40 w/Super Tigre G51 (Exciting!)
Cub 48 w/Magnum .52 four-cycle (Fun!)

I am very happy with them and will surely be buying more of their ARFs.
