I received my Extra 300S from Yellow Aircraft the other day and am very pleased with both their service and the kit. The construction and material is very good. Even the firewall is fuel-proofed. It went together very easily and is all ready to go with an O.S. 32sx. All I need now is for the snow to melt off the runway here in Denver. Just wondering if anyone has experience with flying this plane. Any info is appreciated. Scott

Good flier - push landing gear far forward. If you're flying off grass, toss the wheel pants. Also, the Yellow Extras tend to float well, but keep the power on until the final few feet.
You'll be fine.

Make sure that you have the plane perfectly balanced. I prefer to be a little nose heavy. The plane loved to climb so I added 2 washers to the top of the mount(against the firewall). I have yet to find any bad tendancies. My 30 size yellow 300s has about 150 flights on it and no dammage from some very hard landings! The stall speed is pretty slow. Powered by a 40La the plane moves pretty fast. Good luck!
