I wanted to know what the Lightning Dart flies like and everything about it since I am thinking about getting it. All I could find on the internet was just the specifications. This plane also has a crazy low wing loading so it seems like it is a big plane able to takeoff in a really short distance plus it is only $99. Hehe, Fred likes flying wings. His Lightning Dart ARF isn't his biggest flying wing, but I believe it's his first glow-powered flying wing.
Fred makes a lot of Zagi-sized wings with a foam cutter in his basement. Some of them are blisteringly fast. He also scratch-built a 96" wingspan electric out of blue insulating foam that is pretty cool looking:
