Hey,
I've just about finished putting together the Goldberg extreme 330. This thing is so tail heavy, I don't know what to do. I've to Hitec 525 mg's in the tail, standard servos in the ailerons and on the throttle. Saito .56 in the nose and if I put the battery under the engine, out in the open, it balances at 5" back.
Does anyone have the real CG for this plane. There is no way to balance this thing where they recommend without turning it into a lead sled.
Thanks,
Andy

Andy, go ahead and start at the 5" back that it is at now. Mine is somewhat past that now, (not sure exactly how far back). If you have a little expo on the elevator it should fly fine. Just to be sure you might want to use low rates for the first few takeoffs.
My high rates are now 45 degree's on the elevator and ailrerons, rudder max possible and thats howI fly it all the time.
