Hey all,
I am absolutely brand new to RC planes, I am more of a Monster Truck guy. However a friend approached me with an offer on a new Tiger Trainer 40. It is brand new, only opened to look at, and he wants $100. Is this a good deal? Also, is this a good plane to get started on?

The Tiger Trainer is a terrific first plane. It normally sells for $100 without an engine, and it looks like there is an engine included with the one your buddy wants to sell you. If it also comes with a radio, it would normally sell for around $270, so $100 is a complete steal!
