Does anyone out there have any experience with the Will Hobby Ultimate 40?? It can be seen at willhobby.com. Take a look and let me know what you think. Thanks

I have one. I'm not yet done with the assembly. Too many irons in the fire right now. Anyway, I was very impressed with the overall kit. Yes, I said kit. Calm down all you stick builders, I am one also, but weather it is unitized, or in stick form, assembly is necessary, hence, a kit.
Cheers:
-The covering is done very well (as all Wilhobby planes are (I have assembled several of there planes)). Mine had NO wrinkles.
-Hardware is slightly above the average these days for China ARFs.
-The instructions are, although still very brief, also slightly above the average.
-The construction and engineering are very good (all laser cut as most planes are these days)
-Fiberglass parts are nicely done, fit well, and have a very good match to the covering on the paint.
-Canopy is clear and fits well.
-The kit comes with a handy set of incidence jigs for setting the top wing up. Pretty fool proof, as long as their numbers are correct.
Jeers:
-I don't like the way the cabains attach to the outside of the fuselage sides (esthetics's mostly as they seem very strong)
-No 'Ultimate' decals supplied, only the Wilhobby logo.
-I don't like the single servo set up for (4) ailerons even on a smaller plane like this. I changed this to (2) servos with no problem.
In conclusion, this is a very nice looking, well thought out (with noted exceptions), and constructed 40 size Ultimate. I am putting a .58cc engine in it because I think it will handle the larger engine. I should be able to wring it out. I am going to find out.

I purchased a Will Hobbies .46 Miss America off E-Bay. The model was delivered in the wrong color. After multiple attemps by the E-Bay seller to send me the correct model <box showed Miss America contents were not> they referred me back to Will Hobbies in China.
They then sent me a model <from China> with TWO left wings! The next model that came had 2 BROKEN wings!
There last attempt was to send a pair of wings in a large bubble wrap style envelope. You can imagine what they looked like!
In the end I never got a complete kit. There service is AWFUL and I would NEVER EVER deal with them again.

I have purchased several spinners from Will Hobby in Portland Oregon. These are really great Aluminum Spinners and the best prices i have seen yet. Service was fast and trouble free......I will deal with them anytime.
