Try the Sig 4 Star 60. It is not an ARF but it is a great plane in all aspects

How about a World Models Rambler. 63" wingspan ARF with retracts. About 169.99 from Quantum.

Go with the Pizzaz,I have an OS91FS on mine and flies great. It really shouldn't be a 40 size plane anyway. The Pizzaz flies great, lands great, and will 3D.There have been some negative threads on this model, but it has been great for me,I can't even count the number of flights on it.It gets flown all day, when I am not flying it, I let a friend of mine fly it,since he doesn't have anything that will 3D.I have at least eight planes that are ready to fly at any time from 1/3 Cap 232 to 1/4 Edge 540,to Kombat 40,and anything in between, and the Pizazz always comes with me.I guess I made my point, let us know what you decide on.
Mike.
P.S.I am just about finished my Raptor 30,this will be my second one,I sold the first one out of frustration,I agree, fixed wing is waaaaay eaiser!!!

The plane is very docile to land,no bad habbits at all.The great thing about this plane, and most FF types,is that on high rate they are as wild as you want it to be,on low they are just as tame.I fly mine in all conditions, high wind-no wind-cross wind, just a good flying plane.

Jason,I see you have a T-Maxx!!!Is that the greatest RC truck ever built or what??I have two,one with an OS.15cvx,and a pro-line suspension kit,it turns on a dime and It will get up on the back wheels and stay on the wheelie bar until you let off.The other is for sale on E-Bay,it is awesome too.Sorry to talk about Cars guys, now back to airplanes!!!
