G.P pitts maiden flight. I am worry about the damn canane strut bracket.

I am planning to put the maiden flight on my G.P pitts. Should I worry about the cabane strut bracket? I have a taurus 52 in
the nose. Great planes sent me new bracket but they look exactly the same as the stock one. I dont want to lost my pitts due to a 25 cent bracket.
Any advise quys ?
