I was looking for a larger low wing arf becasue of my lack of building time this winter. I was wondering if anyone had looked at or owns this plane. How good is it? Quality? Flight charistics? You know, all the good stuff. Let me know,

Thanks,

Wolk

We have two at my field, It is awesome, IN the hands of a descent pilot, it would flat spin, good snap rolls, other really cool looking stuff. Then only thing I didnt like was the exposed cockpit. But it flies great, Just look it over when you get it and apply some CA to high stress points.

Definate thumbs up!

Do you know what they were using for an engine? I've got a new
Y.S. FZ-91 just itching to fly. I was thinking this would make a good home for it. Comments?

I had the 60 size arc a while back and it was a great general sport flyer. It is not an extra in terms of aerobatics but can do all the general stuff quite well. big wing was almost floaty for landings. I flew mine with a gms 76 and it flew pretty good with it. Im sure a ys 91 would do quite well. This plane is not made to hang on the prop anyway

I had the arc a little while back. I had it over powered with a Webra 1.20 (which is what I had on hand at the time). I then went to an OS 1.08 and that seemed to do the trick. The YS91 ought to fly it real well also.

The plane is lots of fun. Go for it.

Do a search. You'll find more stuff on this plane than you ever wanted to know. 99% says it's great.
