Default Funjet (multiplex) - Cheap Power?

Hiya folks,

Im really starting to miss my good old trusty picojet now, so Ive been wanting a multiplex funjet for a while. What I dont want though, is to pay out the nose for the reccomended himax motor set. [:@] Id much rather just order out for some chinese.

I still have a bunch of stuff laying around, im just not sure those things would fit the somewhat unusuall rear end of the funjet. how do you mount outrunners for one, and will there be a problem with big propellors? (warping under extreme g-forces, eating the fins)

Ive got a BM2409-12A (delta) 200w 1570Kv. 7~20A motor, but this motor needs atleast a rather big 8x4EP prop to run at full power. Ive also got a Typhoon 15/10, and a Typhoon 6/15 laying around.

Is anything good gonna come from these motors, or are there better and still cheap alternatives I could get from United Hobbies or Aero Nuts?

It doesnt have to be fast enough to peel back the grass on a low pass and lose it out of sight in 1 second, but Id like to be able to whip it around without worrying about a lack of power. [8D]

I preffer flying on 25C 2200mAh lipoly pack, since ive already got a bunch of those primed for other planes aswell.

Can anyone provide me with a vision on how to dress up this puppy?

Cheers,
Sven
