wow thats smaller than it was. it was 53" long and 61.5" wingspan what a letdown. FOR SHAME great planes! instead of making it better, they made it worse and smaller. I doubt I will buy one now. Them small planes are squirlly.

Too bad. 25% minimum size for me on these Formula 1 models, bigger would be even better. Are they going for the electric crowd or something?

Must be the electric crowd is all they're chasing these days. I am soooo disapointed this isn't a re-issue of the 60 size[]

Yea they are going for the electric crowd for sure. Since I am a member of that crowd, I will be buying one of these. With the beefy fiberglass and foam construction it should be absoluty ballistic on 6s. Wow! Now I don't have to convert my orginal String.

dont get me wrong, i dont mind it being electric able, but i just dont like it being so small. that plane the way it was, was small enough. being that i have, and probly most of you all out there, have flown large planes, going to a small one makes you appreciate the bigger ones. Lord willing they will at least do it right and make all sizes.

47" long...info at Tower is more complete today. Too bad this plane is not larger. I'd like it 60 size for a 90 or 120 four stroke. I was getting excited about this plane till I learned it is smaller than I wanted. Should be lots of fun though! Jon

some people have all the luck. some guy at our flying site bought 8 airplanes and some radios all in perfect condition and ready to fly...from someone leaving the hobby. probably $2000.00 worth airplanes and radios and field equipment.....one was a .60 size gp shoestring in perfect condition. ........he paid $400.00 for all this. i was boiling with envy. .....why!....why!...can't this happen to me!

I am still enjoying my original ARF shoestring with a Saito 100 stuffed in. Love this plane and flys like a dream. How about stuffing a Saito 72 in the new one?? Hmmm I wonder if the new cowl fits the old 60 (not that I need one yet.)

Do any of you ( GP 60 ARF) Shoestring fans have a spare canopy for sale?
This GP canopy hade a nice mounting flange & should have purchased an extra....
Sig's bubble canopy is not as wide, & a P-51 style just doesnt look right.
Plane is ready for spring flying.

What happened to the guy that shot down your Shoestring??
Did you shoot down his or take a bat to his head (I like the latter)??
