Default Missing Data on H9 Cap

I'm trying to finish up the engine/cowl work on my 1/4 scale (73 inch) H9 Cap 232. However, nowhere in the manual can I find any info on engine position, IE, what should the firewall to prop-hub face distance be? Since the mount is slotted and adjustable, it's easy enough to set. Anybody got any data or just know what works well? Puttin' a Moki 1.8 on it.

If you search this forum and the engine forums I think you'll find that the concensus was 6 inches from the firewall to the back of the spinner...

Cheers!

Jim, I'm at the same point on mine. What I'm going to do is move the cowl around until it "looks" right (and is far enough back, keeping in mind that it fits between the wing leading edges), then measure from the spinner cut-out to the firewall.

I'm using the Dubro soft mounts with a Saito 150.

Jim, I have a Saito 1.80 on mine and have to slide it to the front of the mount as the plane is tail heavy. There is about 1/8" clearance from the cowl to the back of the spinner.

Hope this helps.
