Hello, 2 years ago I sold out of the hobby. I have been bitten by the bug again after a friend offered me a good deal on a new Flip 3d. I get a RTF plane, Saito 72 and a Spectrum DX7 for 400.00. I was curious, I always flew a UCD 46. How does this plane compare to the other. Also what is the wing loading like? Does anyone have any video of the Flip? I hope to pick it up next week. I cant wait for some warm weather to go fly now. Can anyone also offer some gerneral input on this plane. I did a search, and most of what I read, seems like everyone likes the plane. But I would like to know how it will compare to the UCD's I had. I flew the last one with a Saito 82. Will I be disapointed in the 72? Thanks

I've heard nothing bad about the plane. I had a Kyosho Spitfire .40 once, which I sold to a friend. It was great quality but a PITA to build. The covering wasn't so great, but I've heard they've fixed that. I'm glad the bug has bitten you since this is such a great hobby.

Thanks for the video links. The last one was one I have not seen. It looks like it should be a fun plane. I hate starting over. This is the second time I have done it. My lhs loves it, because its all new chargers, boxes, pumps and all the little goodies. The last time I sold out and restarted, it took me a month to have 3 1/4 scale planes hanging on the wall. This should be interesting. Now I just need to get my AMA paid up, and my club dues in order, and in a month or so, when the weather gets warm enough, I can have some fun. Does anyone know how much wing loading this plane has?
