I have an O.S. Surpass 1.20 pumped ingine. the pump apparantly came with the engine from the factory. It is mounted on the back plate of the engine, round in shape. It has an "in" nipple, (from the tank hook up), an "out" nipple (that goes to the carb., and a third nipple that I believes goes back to the tank.

No biggy, just inquisitive as to why you didn't do that.
