First I have heard about that problem. I just read the 23 page thread in the giant scale forum and noone had that problem. I have one on hold myself that I will be picking up when I go down to Edmonton next week. going to put a Fuji 43 EI 2 in it. Thought one of my DL 50's would be a little much for it with about 30 lbs of thrust.

I re-read the thread and found these items:
post 227 talks about reenforcing the strut tabs on the fuselage
post 413 refers to a strut tab that failed.
post 443 has a reference to his struts being too long
post 485 shows how to beef up the ends of the struts to make them last longer and prevent crushing when tightening them down.
