After learning to fly with the Zagi I had always wanted a gas wing. Nothing fancy or super fast (like the Diamond Dust), just something to put a 46la on and have some fun. I've had my Rapier for a few weeks now and can honestly say it's the best 109 bucks I've ever spent on an aircraft (Modeltech Magic comes VERY close tho!)
Not much has been written on these boards about this particular gas wing. It went together pretty quick (8 hours or so) and flys just like the Zagi, except much faster and with unlimited vertical with the 46la.
I will say that the wing can be very difficult to see in its stock form. Don't take your eyes off of it in the air or you'll lose it. I used black Zagi tape on the top and yellow tape on the bottom to make it easier to see.
I give it two thumbs up!

I agree with you, except mine was the best $104 I have spent (had a $5 off Tower coupon). I powered mine with a Rossi .45 and pipe, very groovy and fast, anywhere from wild to mild. The presence of the large wing platform always gets everyones attention. It does dissappear quickly, I put checkerboarding on the leading edge and down the solid part of the fuse and across the elevons. Helped some, but you still can not take your eye off it. Wish it came w/o covering.

Hey guys I have been looking for a fast plane to stick a OS 46 SF BB engine on. Is this a good choice? Seems like you were happy when you got them, how about now after you have flown them for a while? Still liking them? What kind of speed do you think I would see 100+ MPH?
Thanks for your time.
