Default scraping servos?

Ihave a question about installing the servos into the wing of my cessna, the horns are a bit too long for the trays they're supposed to go in, this is a CMP Cessna 182, is it ok for me trim a little bit off the end or will that mess the travel up? I have a computer radio so maybe I can adjust the travel from there? The other option was to put a plywood spacer inbetween the horn and the tray but I don't really want to take the time to do that. Thoughts?

Default RE: scraping servos?

you can always trim horns , but it effect the distance the rod will be pushed so you will need to make adjustments at the control horn end
