Default CA Models 24% Extra 330

Hello all!

What's the consensus on the 24% CA Extra 330L. I see on a banner ad here that Planes Plus has them on for $189.00. Seems like a good deal to me. Worth the money? All they have n thier web site about the plane is a picture, not much info.

Thanks!

What do you want to know?
Pro's: pretty light 11.25 lbs all up w OS 160
Harrier, torque rolls very well
Fly's well in standard Imac stuff

Cons: Way tail heavy w OS 160
Huge rudder is not as effective as thought, the stretched L version's rudder is just to far away from the prop.
Gear is WAY too short. A fellow on RCU is working on carbon fiber gear and I will post about it when done. I believe he is going to sell the whole CA line of gear replacements

Neither pro or con but because of the short cowl it requires cutting off most of the firebox and it will take a few flights to get all your thrusts correct. small cowl intake area is showing overheating of motor when in harrier

Overall I like mine pretty well, just wish the thing had a bigger cowl, for balance and overheating concerns

I'm thinking about buying one of these, but my car is rather small. I drive a Saturn SL1, so transportation is an issue. Can you give me 3 measurements?
The fuse length
The fuse height with landing gear
The fuse height without landing gear (from the gear to the top).

If it will fit in my car, I will probably order the 24% tomorrow. With a Moki 1.8, I think it should be very nice.

Thank you!!

Reid
