Please be advised that the new style float mounting brackets that KMP is selling with the 96 inch beaver will not work period. Although very rugged and stout, the extream angles on the two rear mounts produce major roll snatch. The airplane on wheels is very nice and a good flying and good looking airplane. Its hard to believe that any company would design a rigging system that does not align the hardware into the slip stream. Its like taking the wing struts on your cub making them one inch wide at then mounting them 30 degrees out of the slip stream. My first flight was all most a disaster. foutunatly I was able to nurse it to a safe landing. Can you imagine having four little rudders going different directions. In several emails to Kondor they said they would look into it. My dad warned me about the situation before I flew it but I figured KMP new what they were doing. Its very obvious that this system was not tested at all. My dad is the former World aerobatic champion, actually the only american WAC still living, so we know a little about airplanes and how they tic.
