I opened up my Pulse ARF kit and found that Hangar 9 had supplied me with 2 wheels both have different size wheel hub width's. I have tried to space the shorter one with washers and it keeps binding up, and if I loosen the nuts on the axle to spin freely it flops around. So im going to get some Du-Bro wheel axles and wheels the same size as supplied with the kit. Was just wondering if someone else has tried this setup and if they could give me some info on what size axles they used that requires the least amount of modification etc, and if anyone had problems with the wheel pants (i.e. clearance) with this mod using similar size wheels??

I agree with ro347.
The wheel axles that come with the kit are disgustingly soft, as is the landing gear.
I got tired of both bending on 'less than soft & fluffy' landings, so I tossed the factory gear and used a Dubro F/G landing gear and high tensile bolts with nylocks. No problems since.

Does someone have a link to what you used to replace the stock axles. I am having the same problem, after about 30 flights it is starting to bend.

Definitely change out the axels. I'm on my new ones and I'm happier not feeling like I need to inspect the wheel pants every time I land.......And I usually grease it in!
