First off I apologize if this question is not appropriate for this forum, I don't know where els to post it.
I have a seagull models superstar. Has a 70" wing, 62" long, weighs 10-12 LBS.
Would a Zenoah G-20ei be ok? Perhaps a 26ei?
Thanks, Pete

Saito 125 flies my Seagull Edge 540 pretty well.. I don't know if it is truly "unlimited vertical" but it hauls it up pretty well.. Edge weighs almost 8lbs 11oz.. For tooling around the sky, I'd think it would do fine.. won't pull out of a hover though..

The Seagull Super Star performs very well with a 1.20 two stroke GMS. We have three of them at our club and all are well liked. That would be roughly the same power as a 180 Saito and quite a bit more than the G26. The OS 120AX would be another good choice. Stay away from the gas engines, they are just too heavy for that airplane. The Super Star will weigh 10 pounds with the 1.20 two stroke. When they get heavier than that, they get "tip-stally"
The best advice I can give you is to limit the elevator travel to less than 1/2" each way. More than that and full deflection will give you an instant snap-roll.

I have a Brillelli 26 gasser on mine and it is a great flyer.......whatever you choose, keep the speed up and fly the plane down to the landing. It will drop out on you if you don't..........

John ... when increase the wing loading with your Brillelli she will have the tendency to stall for sure! Hehehehe ... A 120 2C would be great for that sort of a plane ... or perhaps a YS110 ...
