I won an engine at last month's club meeting so I need another plane to put it in.....I've narrowed it down to 2 ARF's. the World Models T-34 and the VQ Models P-39. Here are some highlights of each:
WM T-34:
- I've already owned one of these, it was lost in a mid-air, so the "new plane" excitement factor probably won't be there......
- Proven flyer
- Excellent Construction
- Good covering
- Not a very scale model of a T-34
VQ Models P-39:
- Already own a VQ Spacewalker, which is an excellent flyer...but don't know any flying characteristics of the P-39.
- Good, but not excellent, construction
- covering is not sticky backed, but a different kind of heat shrink covering
- More scale than the T-34
So what do you guys think??
Mike

Why not get the plans and build your own? It could be as scale or not as you want it to be.... If you're careful with wood selection and prices, you very likely could come out cheaper, and it would be a unique item created with your own hands.
Wouldn't that be worth so much more than a simple check on the counter?

I had a worlds T-34. Got stolen with a saito 65 on it. That plane by far was one of my favorites. I really liked the construction and they way it looked. If it were up to me, ide get the T-34. Ive also had the P-51D 40 size with an O.S. .61 FX and a Macks Tuned pipe. It hauled. Ended up selling it, now I want it back. I really like the worlds Kit.
