Recently crushe a wingtip between 1st and 2nd outer ribs (bad bad car door). Not haveing the dexterity in my hands and fingers I don't think I could rebuild. Question,,,,,Is it possible to make it a clipped wing trainer? Take tips off back to second rib or should I get someone to rebuild the tip for me or should I just order another wing assy from Sig?
Anyone ever clipped the wing, hey you can do it for Cubs. Just a thought.
Love this plane, it is gentle and slow, just like me.

Old and Slow,
It will still fly, but not land as slow. You'd have to calculate the loss of the square inches. However, these are very forgiving airplanes.
Good luck,
