Default CA Skydancer balance problems.

Finally got around to getting a Composite Arf Skydancer going, due to moving slowing things down a lot....

Mounted a .91 Four Stroke to help balancing, balanced in right on the spar, about 3/4" AHEAD of where they say to put it. That puts it at about 29% MAC There stated is closer to 33-34%, which is feasable for 3d types.

It was VERY VERY twitchy on the first flight, even with throws half of their stated settings (low rates), and a bit of expo.

Acted like a very tail heavy plane. Haven't tried to add more nose weight yet, so seeing if anyone else has had these problems. Is their stated CG that far ofF, which is common on ARF's, or is there something I am missing???

Never had a plane that unstable balanced at 30% in 25 years, usually have to move them back just a bit from there, but 25% to 30% it is always a good starting point.

Maybe the shape of the wing airfoil has something to do with it, since it goes down to flat pretty early due to the large flat ailerons...

Any one else with a Skydancer that could chime in would be appreciated.

Thanks.
