I just bought one from our hobby store on 6-7-03. Look s pretty good initially. Covering job was nice. Retracts seem to angled in a bit too much. I'll look into that. Overall really nice plane with the exception that the canopy was split and the cowl had cracks in the paint from flexing too much!! I guess a call is in order. but I still can't wait to put my 3 cylinder Saito .90 radial in it and fire it up! When I found out it would fit I just had to have it!

Just bought one last week, almost completed and I also noticed the gear was angled in. Anyone fixed this yet? I am also looking into how to fix it. So far a decient ARF I also had a broken canopy they pack the canopy in with the wheels. My LHS got me another for free to replace the broken one. Cowl looks ok though.

I am using an hitec hs 75bb. It doesn't seem to be the throw but the angle of the bend on the gear leg. I am concerned if I bend it to a better angle it would not be fully recessed when the gear is up. Do you know if there is an angle adjustment on the retract gear.

Just wanted to let you guys know that they Hanger 9 AT-6 was a rendition of Fred Johnson's full size AT-6. I saw it fly at a airshow here in Florida and thought you guys might like to see a pic of the real one the model was based on!

just spoke to tech support and they said they new about the toe in as they called it and where not planning on any type of change or correction. Seems to me they need to replace the 85 degree with a 90 degree retract I may do this if it poses some ground handleing problems.

Started bending the gear giving it more toe out and found a decent balance between toe out and fitting snugly in the wheel wells. Not easy but found by placing a large screwdriver through the coil spring area and taking a pair of plyers and bending the main part of the gear worked the best by not putting any force on the retract itself. Every time you make an adjustement check the fit in the well and the true toe in of the wheel (tracking) both sides must be the same or the plane will not track correctly on the ground also make sure the wheel is not binding on the well otherwise problems during retracting and deployment may occur. I am going to try to ground test mine tonight. Good Luck
