Has anyone got one of these going yet? The 85" WS version. Not sure if they are even shipping yet. If so, what do you think of the construction quality and flying characteristics?

I am searching for my next plane to purchase this fall. I will be upgrading from my current 67" Extra 330S to an 80"+ gas plane. I am doing a lot of research and I keep coming back to the Extreme. We are talking about going from a $700 investment to a $2000 dollar investment, so its got to be right. Until I can physically inspect one or talk to a few pilots who have flown one, I must remain cautious about beautiful looks and flowery words. The Extreme is several hundred dollars more than comparable size planes, but it may well be worth it. If you call Extreme they may tell you someone who has purchased and flown one, that you can call. With a $700 airplane, I would only install the best (expensive!) components, including some redundancy. Good luck in your quest.

Just looking and waiting 2 hear all i can hear!!!!!

If I get one it may be a while. So, if you get one first please post your findings. That size of a plane at only 15 lbs. with something like a DA50 would be sweet. I wonder if my 4 year old would notice it if I raided his piggy bank . . . .
