I recently crashed my hangar 9 hellcat, and need some parts that horizon won't sell seperatley. Does anyone have a left wing half that I could purchase off of them? I don't want to buy a whole new wing because the middle section and the right half is fine, and it would be about 110$. If anyone has a left wing half let me know!
Thanks

Andy,
Yes I still have two sets, one with retracts and one without. If you want some pictures please ask I will send you some or I will post them to this thread. By the way price has changed, if you want either wing it will only cost you shipping to your front door.

Andy,
I'm sorry[&o], but the cost to ship the Hellcat wing is more then it would cost you to order it new from Horizon Hobby. USPS won't touch the package due to size and UPS, FedEx, and DHL are all priced just about the same[:'(]. If you can, try to find the wing around your local area, your last option order the whole wing from Horizon. It would be cheeper then shipping from my location. Depending on the extent of the damage, try to rebuild the left wing. Last month I had a mishap with my KMP Hawker Hurricane (engine quit), she came down in our tall grass w/2 inch sapplings mixed in. Well the Left wing hit a sappling, twisted 180 then hit the ground ripping the right landing gear from the wheel well. I removed all the damaged wood, manufactured new braces for the gear and installed it. Next I removed all the damaged wood from the wing, luckily the damage was limited to a three inch section and slight damage to two ribbs. I was able to repair the ribs; reusing all the broken pieces, then I manufactured my own leading edge, epoxied it inplace then resheeted two 3" X 2" sections with 3/16 sheet balsa. Then came shaping, filling, covering and finally repainting. My hurricane is ready to fly again, you might be able to do the same thing, check with your local hobby shop or if you have a Micheals near your home they stock good balsa and light ply next to their models.
