Has anyone built one of these lately? When were they discontinued? I'm hoping to start building one this winter and need to start rounding up hardware....are there any hardware packages available for this model.....any ideas from experience? Thanks WC

can you give any info on the 300L? I found on for sale locally, I was turned off since it was discontinued and I was told that it doesn't come with any hardware.

I would think that the hardware pack for the 330S should work for the 330L... I would ask Horizon about that. A lot of the giant scale ARFs do not come with hardware. As far as the plane goes, it is a little heavier than the newer ones out there, but don't let that scare you, it is the best flying plane that I own.

I don't know about the 300L, but the 300S was discontinued by Hangar 9...there is a great review by Eric Royer on RCU under user reviews. I am also interested in engines used by different folks...Royer used a ZDZ 100, but that is a little much for me...any opinions...Thanks WC

I'm flying mine with a Brison 4.2 (70cc) and it doesn't have unlimited vertical but flies it great. The 330S is a little lighter and would probably perform a little better with that engine. The GT-80 would be a good choice if you want a twin with a little less bark than a 100
