RE: Horizon Hobby Scam
Our club did the same thing , we put our secret hats on with propellers , we tossed the HH catalogs into the fire , chanted for better prices , then our cell phone rang and it was HH , offering text message discounts , all they asked was a guarentee that we would remove the rediculous looking properller hats and please do not put a spell on the HH sales .
Well now our club is the # discount receiving club in the USA from HH ,
I guess the chanting got to them , or wasit the thought of grown men wearing propeller hats

America needs to wake up and realize we have created this mess with China getting all our money. They now have a middle class population. What we need is to find a new third world country. I want a cheap ARF and I'm willing to pay any hard working kid .30 cents and hour to build it.

RE: Horizon Hobby Scam
Other than clothing there is almost nothing cheaper to the consumer due to products made out of country. Two companies I know well: GE bought an alarm company several years ago named Caddx. First GE shut down the company in Texas and moved to Mexico. Now it's in China. An alarm panel today cost more than before. Milwaukee Electric worked a deal with a company in KY to move it to China. A reciprocating saw today cost more than it did before the move. The corporations move to make more money. Not to sell things for less. And ARF plane is a toy. Toys have almost always been made somewhere else by cheap labor. The comparison of a toy to a truck or anything else is a stretch. The common thought that these companies moved jobs just to save us all money is something you might read in a paper.

LDM....I think we think alike. I wouldn't mind bending some landing gear with ya sometime. Maybe compare hats, props, bills etc...
There should be some ground rules in place for the Propheads.
1. No touching another mans prop!
2. Don't mention another mans prop!
3. Under no circumstance should you flick another mans prop!
4. Never and I mean never wear another mans Prophat!
5. If for some reason you should need a bearing replaced so your Prop can spin freely....another man should not help.
6. Never leave your prophat unattended at any time!
7. No brushless prophats!
All for now,
Kevin

Okay...wait a minute! It doesn't sound like you're talking about another man's prop hat here! Sounds like you're talking about something else!! Hope I'm wrong!?
Oh, and by the way. I'm a married man. Is it alright to let another woman touch my prop? Spin it? I HAVE NOT LET THIS HAPPEN!!! DON'T GET ME WRONG! I'm just wondering if the ground rules covers this...just in case. [sm=eek.gif][sm=tired.gif][sm=tired.gif][sm=tongue_smile.gif]
