Default Finishing Resin for Wing Joint?

I ran out of Epoxy tonight and want to get a wing together.
I have two new bottles of Great Planes Pro Epoxy Finishing Resin.

The LHS doesnt have any epoxy and I was wondering if its possible to join the wing halves with the Finishing Resin?

I am guessing not or there would be no need for finishing resin as people would just use Epoxy?

This is a slower set epoxy. It should be thinner then others to allow it to penatrate and seal wood surfaces or in appling fiberglas E-cloth. Just be sure you have a good joint and watch out for it running out of the wing joint.

In the future you might want to consider going down to a marine store and get a quart of West Marine 105 epoxy and hardner. Lasts along time and is very good quality epoxy that can be used for all applications.

Awesome. Thanks for the tip wingspar.

I tipped the bottles I had upside down for a while and I ended up having enough. I will go down to the marine store tomorrow and get some of the epoxy you mentioned.

Still have to do the tail feathers yet so will do that with the new stuff.

Thanks again
