RE: Hanger 9 J3 Cub PNP, Anyone Flying?
I've had one of them and I might get another one!
Support the landing gear and don't fly it on a windy day. Just like the full size Cub... use your rudder!!! I crashed mine this Spring, when a Cross Wind nailed me and I Cart Wheeled right into the ground. My Ailerons acted like Barn Doors, it stalled on take off resulting the Cart Wheel. It was so damaged it wasn't worth the re-build.
This plane is not for beginners and is not very forgiving on windy days. If you've been flying for a few years than this would be a great second or 3rd plane. This is a must for anyones hanger!!!
We have some fantastic threads on this plane here at RCU... maybe someone can send you a link on it for you? If no one does I'll find it.
