RE: fiesler storch
Sold here or built here? Never heard of it beofre....better google it.
Just googled it. Nice plane with a lot of history. Reminds me of the modern day super cubs. Amazing that they figured out how to take off in under 200 feet and land within 50 feet of touch down.....back then. Unique plane for sure.
How much are they running for the plane?

It is often very difficult to find companies that are willing to produce "different aircraft" different from the multitude of Stangs, zeros and spits. Good luck in your venture, will be very excited to see them. Here is another beautiful early Luftwaffe aircraft,, HE-51, that would be cool!

RE: fiesler storch
Hello; I wanted a Storch for years, I finally found plans (out of RCM and E magazine) and scaled it up to 60" and built it. As soon as I hit the feild with it, a fellow flyer just had to have it. He offered me $200 for it, so I said I wanted $275. I, at least wanted to get a test flight in, but the guy was adamant, he just had to have it, and gave me a checque for $275. I didn't really want to sell it, but the guy was so pleased with it, I let it go. I took my engine and radio gear out of it and he took it away. Since then, I haven't seen the plane at all, I've only seen the guy twice since then, and I heard he moved to the mainland, so I don't know how it flies. I had great hopes for the foreflaps, which were a pain to build in, but aI think that's what made the plane so irresistable to Ed.
Since then I have built a Scottish aviation "pioneer", and have added the foreflaps to that. I haven't finished it yet, and I haven't seen any colour schemes except the gray andwhite military one.
Good luck with your venture, I'm sure there is a market for that plane. I know that, at our feild, there's at least 4 guys that will be interested.
