What is the BIGGEST motor for Kadet Senior?

Mine (I built the kit) has a Thunder Tiger GP .42 on it, and flies fine once up in the air. One guy at field couldn't believe how slow it can fly. If I was doing the project over, I'd go .46bb or 55. Mine needed nose weight. I love the guys that kit bash it to resemble scale aircraft. Perfect model kit to try that.

I have had a Saito 45 in my kit built with ailerons, not enough power. When the ARF Senior first came out, there were a few in the club using an OS70 four stroke- that seemed to be a perfect combo.

That sounds right. I think it might be a matter of perspective. I learned how to fly on mine (TT GP 42), so slow and low power was plenty for me back then. When you look at the size (that wing is 78" and is pretty strong) it certainly can take more. I've heard of guys putting .90 size glow on them and having plenty of fun. I know mine needed nose weight. If I had to do it again, I think I'd be looking at a nice strong .60 economically and power-wise. It's a Sig Kadet Senior, have fun. Sig says you can fly it on a .29, think what that must be like.
