Default "whistler mod"

Hey all, just had a quick question...where do people get "whistlers" for their airplanes? I have searched on here, but haven't been able to find them. You know what I'm talking about...they had a bit of a whistle to the plane in air, and think they sound pretty neat...any suggestions?

thanks.

I've had a couple of planes that "just whistled" , one was a 4*60. I always thought that was real cool. Also, I've heard that somebody makes a unit that makes a machine gun sound. Surely, someone out there knows where to find them.

TRy one of those sirens people mount on the bumper of a car to frighten dear away so they don't get hit
Also party supply stores carry small plastic mouth operated sirens.
The look like they have 2 turbin fans mounted inside.
APPX $1.00 EA and about $40.00 for the metal ones

Try this
$1.00 at the Dollar store.
Mount it where it can pick up some prop wash and you have a siren that changes pitch and no moving parts

There was a company that made whistles to put on a plane. They made different type of sounds depending on which one you purchased. They were fairly small and light also.

Maybe you can post an add to see if anyone has one for sale. The company was i4c and the product was an air whistle. Someone may have an old one laying around that they are willing to part with.

Good luck.

Get a nerf football with the whistles on it and use those.

Good idea...thanks for the info guys! I may fly my revolver first and see if it has that natural whistle to it...if it doesn't I'll definitely be trying these out. Thanks again!
