Default Global Freestyle - Color?

On the Hobby People website the picture of the Global Freestyle looks like it has black covering. But the pics in the review on here show blue covering. Is it just the photo lighting, or does it come in both colors?

Its dark blue. The lighting on the web site photo just doesn't show it well. Has blue stripes on the bottom of the wings as well.

Thank you. I thought it must have had something to do with that particular picture.

It flys great. I have some bigger airplanes, but this one is really my favorite. I have a Saito 72 in it which gives it unlimited vertical. It tracks very well and is almost a hybrid, with pattern type abilities but with huge control surfaces for 3D flying.

I am on my second one now. The first one had an elevator half seperate in flight (RIP). But I called Global and they replaced it at no cost. Just had to send them what was left of the tail so they could analyze why it broke.

I put larger gear on mine so it would clear the 13 x 6 prop better. Otherwise, it is all stock.

Default Freestyle

Yup, the colors of my plane do look better in Maverick's picture.

Seriously, the colors in my review are fairly accurate given that my digital camera does not always provide perfect hue. You will notice some variations in the darkness of the blue depending upon the light and exposure in the many photos. Either way, the color scheme is highly visible and easy to orient top/bottom in the air. Wonderful flying plane. Too bad I'm on the road and not home flying it!

Well it isn't my picture! I did say in the original post that the picture was from RCAddiction's RCU Magazine review.

Default funny

I know, it's just funny, LOL.

It's a great plane. You'll really enjoy it. Just power it well. The new Magnum 52XLS is likely also a good option, or the OS50, or of course, the YS63. Enjoy!

Well I actually have an OS FS-70 II sitting here without an airframe right now, so that is what I am looking to use.

Right now I am tossing up between the Global Freestyle or the new Great Planes U-Can-Do 3D 46 Size.
