I just thought I'd throw in a picture of my LT40 on an approach
It’s a very stable plane, this picture was taken on an old logging road that leads up to a sawmill.
There’s huge fir trees on both sides as well as power lines.
I order to take off, we had to go vertical up over the power lines, clear the trees, then once at a safe altitude, I was able to give some flying lessons to the locals.
Landing was done by side slipping it down in-between the trees, and under the power lines to get it back down on the roadway,
It was really tight, but that's the kind of flying I like.
With an old OS 50 FSR in the nose, it will almost go unlimited vertical, yet idles down to a crawl.
I love that plane!!
