Finally got to fly the Cap and I really like it. I am running a Mejlick 21-8 on a Fox 2.4 gasser. I don't know what the rpms are yet. It has unlimited verical for sure. The plane has no bad habits at all. On final with a long approch at just under 1/4 throttle. It almost lands itself in a 3-point landing. Snaps are awesome and you don't lose any altitude. It will do knife-edge flat spins awesome also. In harriers it doesn't rock the wings at all. I will have fun with this one. Here are the construction pictures.

Mine is coming in at 13.5 lbs which includes about 8oz of lead in the nose to balance it out with an OS 160.
I can probably get it to 13 lbs if I mount the elevators servos back in the fuse -- they are in the tail now.
Please let me know the flying weight of your plane. I can't decide whether to keep it at 13.5 or modify it to bring it down to 13.
I'd rather keep the servos in the tail.
Good to hear you had a successful first day with the Cap.

It came out to 14lbs even and that is with a digital fish scale. It really flies well at that weight. I would put a gasser on it if I were you. They are so impressive. Good luck.
