I got this ARF for $75.00 NIB for my father in law a few months back. He finally bought a radio and engine, and I have been setting it all up for him. The plane built very tail heavy; and my battery is slid clear to the front, I've added 4 oz. of lead in the nose, and it's got an LA 40 for power.

I used wood glue when I installed the tail, and I didn't over do it. But I wonder why it built so tail heavy? Anybody else had a similar experience with this ARF?

Well, the OS .40 LA is a light engine so that may be a reason for the aft centre of gravity. I had a HP .40 Silverstar on my trainer and due to the low weight I had to add quite a bit of weight to the front.
