Hey Krayzyc, did you get your CG as per the manual, from the wing tips? Where is your CG at? mine falls in line but the airplane doesn't decend on landings and any tiny ele movemant causes it to balloon

no i used a CG machine and tried to figured were at the root those measurement would fall. I think i started off at 7 inches at root. Mine is almost hands off inverted with just a 1/8 to 1/4 of stick movement to fly inverted. I have flown my battery as far back as behind the hatch, right now its on the gas tank. I only fly with 8-10 degrees on the elevator i also have a -2 on the throtle to elevator at idle for perfectly straight downlines otherwise it pulls to the canopy. I also fly wiht no expo on the elevator so i know i am doing soft stick movements on this bird for it not to also ballon and a very slow air speed on landings.

ORIGINAL: magnumph

should i go with a power expander or one reciever and two batteries.
I have two 100" 100cc powered planes - an Edge 540 and Comp 300SX. Both use an AR9100 Rx, two switches and two eneloope 6V Battery packs. The AR9100 has a higher current BUS, but I also run the same setup in my RC Pilot Extra 88" using an AR7000 with the extra battery plugged into the throttle via a Y lead.
At the end of the day - everybody will have a different opion so find what works best with you and your budget - without compromising safety.
