My 120 Ultimate is now together and it is time to balance it.
As this is my first biplane how do I orientate it on the Greatplanes CG machine, I have balanced high and low wing airplanes but never a biplane. Sorry for the stupid question but I am not sure which way the model should be positioned, upside down like a low wing or right-side up like a high wing!

most bi planes will tell u in the instructions how to balance. most use the top wing and cabane area for balance so u will be using the finger method or a ruler and fingers. I would not know for sure unless i looked at your manual.

On the 1.20 the C.G. is about 1/2" to 1" forward of the rear carbane strut support on the top wing.
Go by what the manual states, but do not be surprised at how far back the C.G. looks to be on the top wing. This is normal.
