Default Green Models 3D Edge .46

I just bought my first ARF kit which I'm going too build myself (previous was build for me), I would just like too know whether anyone has a link too where I can find hints or more in detail descriptions on building this plane. Since I'm new the manual which came with the kit is a bit...what shall we call it...too incomplete for me (I don't always understand what they mean and exactly how too do it).

Do you need too 'force' the tail wing into the balsa of the rudder or should there be an already drilled hole under the covering which must just be opened up?

The kit gets sold as 96% complete.

I know these are all silly questions, but it would really help me not too mess up the plane by doing things wrong.

Then I would also like too know...the tail piece (where the elevator gets attached to) which you slide into the slot on the fuselage. Do you need too epoxy that too the fuselage - just wondering because it can move around if you just slide it in and don't mount it some way or another correct?

If I was there I could probably help you. What brand of kit did you purchase? Did it come with written instructions? This may help:

It's a Green RC Models 3D Edge .46 (Balsa). Yes it comes with written instructions but for me it's a bit incomplete, since I'm new too this building thing of ARF.

For example it will tell you too connect the Connecting rod too the Elevator, but if I look at the pic and try too do it like I see it, it seems too be too long (the rod). So I'm in a bit of the dark. I have a friend which can help me this weekend. But I wanted too try and maiden it over the weekend. But maybe I'll have too rather wait.

Thanks for the link Ill read it

Get some help and assemble it slowly. For what it's worth, Green Models ARFs are really well made and go together smoothly. You may not maiden it this weekend, but you will be happy with it when you do maiden it.

Yip my friend is coming this weekend too help me. I'm putting the things together which is quite easy so long and took out everything from my Ultra Stick.

One quick question though - this is purely out of curiosity and not wanting too wait for the answer :P...The hinges for the control surfaces (CA Hinge) - (Description of them: I think they are 30x20 and has two slits a couple of mm apart from each other in the middle) - when inserting them into the slot do you need too insert them with the slits running along the the wing or away from it (towards the aileron which it slides into)?

Okay I just attached the aileron too the wing. I would like too know - I hope I didn't mess up too bad - there is a bit of space between the wing and aileron - I would say absolutely no more than 1mm - some places half a mm. Don't know if this is because of the kit or my fault. Is this going too have an effect on the plane?

Okay I decided too post some pictures with things that I think could be a bit of trouble in flight. I would like too know if anyone can comment on it and hit my head against the wall for being stupid.

When I glued the hinges for the rudder I almost dropped it and thats when the glue set too quickly - now it seems the rudder is not square - but if it's possible too see it on the pictures can someone comment please.
