Default pitts muffler question

i dont know much about the pitts muff. but im wondering if i can get one and would it work on an evolution 45 and fit a vq p-51. does any one have some nice pics, i'm at the stage where i am ready to mount the engine. not sure straight up or 45 degree or 90 degree.

It will be mounted at 90 degrees if you want the muffler pipes to exit from the bottom of the cowl. I do not believe evolution makes a pitts muffler for their .45 but if you have a LHS you might be able to have them help you match one up.

Sound primarilly. Some engines may get a performance increase while others take a loss and then some stay about the same.

The biggest advantage is keeping the mufflr inside the cowl.

Check companies like Bisson or Slimline. I'm sure at least one of them will make a muffler for the Evolutions. They might not list them by name, so you'll need to know your exhaust dimensions
