I just got this nice p51 at a auction yesterday and really got a good deal.and found out why,It's never had anything put in it.no servos control rods, nothing except ailarons.and it hung from someones ceiling for years.Just wandering what would be the best way to install control rods and gear?

I remember seeing that one on the auction block.
I would make regular wood-dowel pushrods with 2-56 wires on each end. The stand the model on its nose and drop a weighted string down the pushrod exit hole.
Pull it out through the wing hole, tie it to the end of the pushrod, and pull the string to guide the pushrod through.
