i was thinking about using a 46FX i have (no 3D, loops rolls, inverted) how would it do?

Well it may be on the low side for power but it will fly it. I always end up with the higher end of the motor spectrum they recommend and find I could have went bigger.

The .46 will likely be just fine if you aren't planning on any hardcore 3D stuff. I ordered a YS-63 for mine.

I'm running a Saito 72 (11k, 13x6 MA S2, 15%) and it is plenty of power.

I don't have my plane together yet and I am curious as to what 3d maneuvers it is capable of? what cg position are you using?
