If you're referring to the Global sport pattern kit, I can comment. It's a nice kit. Parts fit is very good. It's ultracotye covered, so repairs are a snap. It's also a very good flyer. Smooth and responsive.

The only dwnsides are some of the hardware, particularly the wood pushrods. I replaced mine with Dave Brown carbon rods. The wood moror mounts are soft. I laminated mine with 1/8 ply to give the blind nuts something to bite into.

Well worth the price of the kit.

I got the "untouched" ARF for $80.00 at a swap-meet! Thanks for the advice!

BTW, what powerplant did you use?

later,

I bought one of these a long time ago and finally put it together last summer. It is built very well and does indeed fly very well. I have a Pico 45 in mine with a 11x5 APC prop. Plenty of power. The plane is fairly fast and not a beginners plane I wouldn't think. It doesn't really knife edge very well, but other than that, it does well. FWIW

I got the mine two weeks ago, and yesterday I did fly it. The mine has a SuperTigre GS40 and doesn`t need more power than that. It flies very well. It`s my first tail dragger, then, I got difficult to take off with wind about 10kt, but, when the wind cames down to 2 to 3kt, it flew very well !!!

mine had no roll or pitch coupling in knife edge, but the nose would point down, i moved the CG back 1/2 inch and it still wouldn't I just added some more area to the rudder and will test fly today, I'll let you know after if it knifes better
