What happened to the bigboy/spoiler thread??

Hey Jim
We had a heck of a ice storm here. We lost trees, power lines, internet, phones, and now it looks like the spoiler big boy thread also.

I have never heard of a storm taking out a single thread before !
Is it possible it got moved to a different forum? I have had threads moved or locked/deleted but I usually get a notice in my private message box.

Here is what I found when I searched for it... http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_71...tm.htm#8093910
I notice they have turned off some of the options, my avatar used to be a moving airplane and prop.. and I have posted some gif's before, none of them are working as well anymore...

It might be where they put threads that might have brought back alien life in them ...like the movie ALIEN !!
Seriously though, it does seem to have just fallen between the cracks....

it is funny that threads that have been dead for years and had no good information in them are still available and ours was cut. if rcu doesn't want us to talk here maybe we should look for another forum to get together on. i would hate to because i have been checking this site several times a day for years and it would be a hard habit to break.

If you throw a topic out here and you get no response one might conclude that there is no interset. I don't think RCU has anything to do with it. RCU may monitor inappropriate language but if you are inferring that they are supressing topics for discussion I'll be right behind you at the exit door.

i am not saying anything like that but it is strange that the thread had no activity for a month and it was trash canned when there are threads several years old without activity and they are still around. it could be a error, mistake, glitch ect, maybe someone can explain it to us.
it was about the spoiler and bigboy planes either scratch built or arf and a few of us the like them and like using this forume to hang out and share a laugh ot two.
east rc has been working for a long time on getting a new spoiler arf on the market and they have not told us what the hold up is. hopfully soon we will have more info coming our way.

Would RCU let you set up say "Bigboy/Spoiler Club"? Seems reasonable as long as they have the computer resources.

it is a stick type plane but has more of a fun fly airfoil and flight style. i have never flown a stick of any kind (ultra, big, ect...) that even comes close to a well built spoiler. if east rc doesn't get something going soon i will have to have another one built for me. i am not much of a builder myself, but i do love flying.

Here is a link to another thread we have started for the same purpose as the one that has been contained. Feel free to jump over and join us.
I don’t think we’ll get an answer on this one.

A while back I came looking for the same thread. I had to go back about five or six pages to find it. Has anyone done that? I think that inactive threads keep going farther back as other threads are added.
EDIT: I just went back to the tenth page to find the Jerry's BB thread. I didn't find the friends thead. What's up with that??
