Default Pull-Pull or Push-Pull

Need some advice. I am in the middle of building a CMP Cessna 182 - 50 and would like to know your thoughts on using a Pull-Pull system on the Rudder Versus a Push-Pull system. I feel the Pull-Pull system would be a stronger and more secure system than the Push-Pull system. Any thoughts? Thanks.

your thinkin right, Pull-pull setup will be more dependable and precise. Iv given up running pushrods to the rudders on my planes, now its "spider wire" fishing line on everything from electrics to gassers!

Pull-pull is a trickier to set up, but by design is more accurate. A 'real' Cessna, at least the two that I've flown, have pull-pull system on the rudder, so I'd be inclined to put one on my model if I had one.

I use pull pull whenever possible. The long push rods are problematic and harder to secure from flexing, this gets the servo up in the radio compartment for ballast reasons (verses rear mounted servos with short push rods, and gives very positive control in both directions if set up properly. Make sure your servo arm hookups are the same width as the two attach points on the rudder (horn to horn). This keeps the system symmetrical and the cables tight throughout their travel. I also like to cross the lines as well.

Unless you need the servo in the tail for weight go pull/pull. Once you get your geometry down they are easy.

Good point. Sometimes the weight back there does help (doesn't take much as it is so far aft of the CG). In that case, short 4-40 size rod and clevis can still give very positive, flex-free control.
