Default Cessna Aileron

Does anyone know where I can get a Right-Side Aileron for a CMP Cessna Skylane 182 50 size. I got a warped aileron from Raidentect and they won't replace it saying it was warrentee for 30 days. It was 5 months later that I noticed it when assembling the wing. I asked them about getting the aileron and it has been 3 weeks and I still have not heard back from them. Can anyone help? Dave.

How bad is it warped? Do you know about the heat gun trick? If you hold or clamp the aileron in the unwarped position and re-shrink the covering, the covering will hold the aileron in place.

Thanks Joe. I will give that a try. I got nothing to lose. I'll have to do it on the plane because I was hoping the hinges would straighten it out but know luck. It moves up and down but in the up position it wants to snap back to center. There is tension on the servo moving it up but pushes back on the servo returning to center. I think it will fly that way but would like to fix it. Other than that aileron there were no other defects.

Are they pin hinges? I would pull the pins if so, not sure how much the hinges will try to fight you. Either way I'm sure you will see some improvement.

Good luck!
