Hi,
Does anyone of you have expirience with the voodoo, the dago or the p-51 from EZ?
I have got a voodoo at home and I'm going to make the first flight soon so I need a few tipps for the first flight! (how fast is she?, stall caractaristics, stable flight or not, ....)
I've installed a YS-63FZ!

I had the VooDoo and I have the Military mustang. The VooDoo had a YS-45 2s on it and was very fast. It flew like it was on rails and was very stable on landing. Use the recommended throws but you may want just a little more on ailerons. You do NOT want to pull full elevator! It will snap but of course almost all of EZ's planes will... You probably wont recover. My Mil stang has the YS-63 on it and is very fast. I would have to say in the 110-120mph area. It flies great. By far the VooDoo went together the best.

Sounds good!
Mine has a YS-63FZ in her too.
what prop do you use for your mil stang?
does she pnly snap out when you fly fast and suddenly pull full elevator or does she snap out at every speed almost when you pull the elevator slowly to full position?

The EZ Voodoo is an ARF.
I was impressed from the quality of this kit!
It went together smoothly.
You can look here
VOODOO information

Im running a 12x8 Master Airscrew Scimitar @ 11,500-11,800rpm.
The stall is bad news when you are 50 ft up, balls to the wall, in a steep banking turn and want to cut in front of the other plane! It doesnt take much elevator to move this bird. If i remember its only like 3/8". All in all a great flyer

I understand
50 feet up(self explanatory!), balls to the wall( going really, really fast!), in a steep banking turn( 90 degrees to the ground turn), and want to cut in front...( pulling full elevator to get in front of the other guy!)
INSTANT SNAP and I went and picked up the pieces.
Dont be scared of it! just go with the throws in the book and you are OK. real stable flyer.

The EZ series is a very light basic airframe covered with a foam/mylar skin. If you crash, you will find the basic outline of the plane with toothpicks inside! They are not very repairable. And are quite pricey to replace.

Yeah I know!
thats the only problem they have, but therefore they look awesome!
You have to be very careful with them and if I couldnt fly I wouldnt buy such a baby!

My Feedback: (10)
I found the plane listed on the MRC web site to be the lowest on the net. Any one see it for less?

I recently bought the military EZ stang and munched the under cowling on the first landing.....i cant seem to find if theres a replacement. Does anyone have any idea if theres a way to replace it???
If anyone wanders.....this thing flies incredibly fast, and really does ride rails! Im totally thrilled that i bought it.
