Has anyone out there either flown the phoenix models extra 300 or know someone who has? I'm trying to find out how well it flies with an os 46ax

chr,
i had one of these. flew great with an os46ax. veritical was not unlimited but sufficient. i ran the os with a pitts muffler side mounted with stacks out the bottom looked scale. unfortunately i lost mine due to dumb thumbs. watch for snap coming out of knife edge. although i was going to slow when it happened. enjoy it its agreat plane! any more questions please let me know

I would be inclined to try a tuned pipe with that setup. I'm actually glad this thread gave me that idea; I've got a 46AX looking for a new home, and a pipe will surely open the door for more possibilities.
I've had a couple of Phoenix planes. Really great bang-for-the-buck. It is very common to get a Phoenix plane and be quite impressed with what you find in the box. They tend to run on the heavier side, but not too bad.
